Strategic Planning
There are about 200 countries in the world. There are also 13 supranational settlement blocs – groups of countries where a citizen or legal resident of one group member country enjoys special privileges in other countries within the same group – the EU being just one such group.
Determining which countries and/or blocs are relevant to you begins with understanding what you value.
Are you looking to relocate or would another citizenship or residency be a plan-B option for the long term? Would you like another citizenship or residency simply for business travel to a particular region? Do you seek unfettered access to a particular bloc like ECOWAS or MERCOSUR? Is your main interest asset protection and geopolitical diversification? If you personally plan to relocate, how many days would you see yourself spending there annually?
What languages do you and your spouse speak and from where does your ancestry come? This is signifiant because language skills and genealogy can open the door to both residency and citizenship on the basis of descent or ethnicity. We have expertise in heritage-based citizenship and residency policies around the world.
We closely track policy developments around the world in real time and consider these when determining your current and desired geopolitical risk tolerance profile.
Strategic planning is all about tying together immigration and lifestyle objectives to gain greater security, freedom and opportunity for you and your family. As a part of this we advise on:
– Citizenship by Descent (Jus Sanguinis)
– Citizenship by Marriage (Jus Matrimonii)
– Citizenship by Birth (Jus Soli)
– Citizenship by Investment or Donation
– Residency by Investment or Donation
– Renunciation of US citizenship
– Residency by Ethnicity
– Citizenship by Ethnicity
– Residence permits on the basis of self-sufficiency, passive income or remote work
– Employment-based residence permits
Citizenship by Donation
We are a licensed agent for the citizenship by donation programs of both São Tomé & Príncipe and Sierra Leone. We work with clients from around the world but specialise in helping Europeans, Americans and Canadians, who through their existing citizenship(s) already have access to the global north and are interested in securing access to the global south.
Africa is home to some of the fastest growing economies in the world as well as some of the fastest growing populations. Projections show that Africa’s population will double by 2050. Europe and North America face a looming crisis with fertility rates below the replacement rate.
An African passport offers access to the rapid growth of the global south, asset protection and diversification of geopolitical risk exposure. Not just for those applying today but for generations to come. After gaining citizenship, the laws of STP and Sierra Leone make no distinction between citizens by donation and ordinary naturalisation, meaning that citizens by donation can vote and pass on their citizenship to children born in the future, without any additional donations. Just like any other citizen of the given country. Citizens by donation in these countries also cannot be arbitrarily deprived of their citizenship, unlike in some Caribbean countries for example. Citizenship in STP and Sierra Leone can only be revoked if it was obtained by fraud, misrepresentation, or concealment of material facts.
